Hot Pink Pants – Pink and Red Color Combo

Zara Wrap Top, Hot Pink Pants, Jeffrey Campbell Mules, Louis Vuitton Pochette MetisI have talked before about how much I despise old fashioned style rules (like No White After Labor Day). Another favorite area of restriction has historically been the combination of certain colors. You can’t wear navy and black, or pink and red!

I don’t know about you but the bright pink color of these pants are an immediate pick-me-up for me. It’s not difficult to feel adventurous when it comes to a blouse or a dress. But it’s not often that we reach for a busy print or bright colors when it comes to our pants. So here I am trying to challenge you to do just that. I picked up these crop hot pink pants a while ago and by the time I got around to blogging about them, they were sold out. But not to worry, I have linked some very similar styles in the same bright color.

I decided to go more subdued and simple for the top with this favorite of mine from Zara. I wore it to NYFW and I wear it casually during the day because it’s so easy and goes with everything.

The open back mule style of these Jeffrey Campbell Pumps is so in right now but I mostly see it in a casual loafer type shoe. I was very excited to get my hands on these pumps. The suede is absolutely exquisite – soft and comfortable. The little sweetheart detail in the front and the curve of the heel give it a playful and unique silhouette.
