Do you remember the plaid blanket scarves from last year? (I can’t help but associate them with the start of my blog. It’s been almost a year folks!) My friends from Ilymix reached out to me to tell me about the new collection of prints and colors they have for this season. They sent me one to try and to show my readers.
This windowpane scarf did not disappoint just like its plaid predecessors. It is super soft and not itchy at all – I can’t do itchy! The knit is chunkier which creates a beautiful woven texture. A word of caution – because of the open weave, the threads tend to pull. If that happens to you, no worries – you can pull the loose thread back into place.
The shape of this scarf is a long rectangle. You can definitely wrap it around your neck but it’s still kinda warm out so I decided to wear it as a shawl and drape it over my shoulders. As you can see, it has the width for that.
I was a huge fan of the blanket scarves last year and got them in three different colors. I liked having different color options and my kids kept stealing them from me to use for blankets. I predict that I will also be getting the windowpane scarf in navy. There are so many more options available on Ilymix.com so be sure to check them out.
These scarves make perfect gifts for the holidays (teachers’ gifts, BFF gift exchanges, you name it)! You can stock up and have them available as a last minute gift as well. They come nicely packaged and you don’t have to worry about guessing sizes or tastes. I know they will please even the most discriminating recipients (aka, me).
Just like last year I have a coupon code for 20% off your purchase – use STEFANA20 at checkout!
