Laundry Room Makeover

BEFORE & AFTER

This space had yellow walls and a hideous fluorescent light. I painted it and changed the light fixture to hold us over.

THE BEFORE

The laundry room flooring is marble checkerboard tiles that transition perfectly from the red oak floors of the kitchen.

The walls got a makeover too! I installed vertical shiplap and hung wallpaper to add a bit of color and texture.

Above the sink I added a floating shelf with brass rails and some artwork. But I still had the water lines to worry about.

I just used a plant instead of building an elaborate contraption!

This sink adds storage and looks pretty with the brass hardware and polished nickel faucet.
