Have you been curious about ceramic cookware? I only recently found out about it after realizing that we need to replace our pots and pans … yet again! How often do you replace your non-stick cookware?

I have used non-stick Teflon-coated cookware for over 15 years now but I have to replace it fairly often. It inevitably starts to scratch and the coating comes off – probably in our food. It’s known to be toxic and as much as I don’t give in to hysteria, I felt uneasy about the idea of serving food with possibly toxic particles in it.

The other option would be stainless steel cookware. If you’ve used it, you know that it’s not non-stick and even with oil food ends up sticking to the bottom. I can’t think of anything worse than having to scrub the bottom of a pot after enjoying a delicious meal – the worst chore ever!

This ceramic cookware by Caraway Home is non-stick but also non-toxic. It takes just a little bit of vegetable oil or butter to keep foods from sticking and it’s an absolute breeze to clean. Just a couple of swipes with a sponge and rinse.
